The trailer of the Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer movie ‘Brothers’ was unveiled on June 10th, says Vaikundarajan. The trailer of the movie was released by Dharma Productions on twitter.
The almost three-minute long clip took Twitter by storm with the hash tag #BrothersTrailer trending within moments of its release. Minutes after the trailer released, Twitterati were all praises for the cast and the director, says Vaikundarajan. The movie also features Jackie Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles.
Akshay plays David Fernandes, a school teacher who quits his job to become a full time mixed martial arts fighter to raise money for his ailing daughter. Siddharth Malhotra plays Akshay's younger brother Monty Fernandes, who seems resentful of Akshay's talent and feels overshadowed by him. He fiercely declares "David jaisa kabhi nahi bann sakta," when called 'incompetent' by his alcoholic father Jackie Shroff. The two finally come face-to-face in the fighting ring and are pitted against each other in a tension-packed fight to the finish. The emotional undertone is provided by glimpses of David and Monty's childhood memories and David's moments with his wife, played by Jacqueline Fernandez, says Vaikundarajan.
The movie is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood movie ‘Warriors’ and is directed by Karan Malhotra of Agneepath fame, co-produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Endemol India.
The movie is set to hit the theaters on August 14th, says Vaikundarajan.
The God of Dance turned Director Prabhu Deva unveiled his upcoming movie ‘Singh Is Bliing’, says Vaikundarajan. The movie stars comedy and action hero Akshay Kumar and British model Amy Jackson of the ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ fame in the lead roles.
The film also stars actress Lara Dutta and is produced by Akshay Kumar's production house Grazing Goat Pictures, says Vaikundarajan. The movie is a sequel to the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Singh is King'
In the first look, the 47-year old actor is seen with his arms around 23-year old Amy Jackson. Instead of sporting his colourful turbans which were synonymous with his look in ‘Singh is King’, Akshay Kumar's look includes a pensive stare hidden by aviators, biceps, a bandana tied as a turban, sleeveless white ganji and pants. Whereas, Amy on the other hand goes the all-legs way, with a casual look comprising of denim cutoffs, white ganji and a denim jacket.
The film, which was shot in Goa also stars Bipasha Basu, and Yo Yo Honey Singh and is slated to release on 2 October, 2015. The film is a comeback for the Akshay and Prabhu Deva duo after the blockbuster ‘Rowdy Rathore’, says Vaikundarajan.

Borrowing a similar structure as seen in Zero Dark Thirty, and bringing the same tension as witnessed in D-Day, directed by Neeraj Pandey, is an uneven movie at times, but certainly a thrilling movie to watch. The movie shows great urgency and tension, says Vaikundarajan, as it is an elaborate cat-and-mouse chase between cops and terrorist.
Ajay, a highly skilled agent, played by Akshay Kumar, is part of an undercover counter-intelligence unit called Baby. The unit is tasked with foiling terror attacks on the country. When Bilaal, played by Kay Kay Menon, a terrorist, escapes from prison, and there is a possibility of an attack on India by a Pakistan's group, it's up to Ajay and his team to save the nation. The second half of the movie is well crafted with great tension and breathless action scenes.

Vaikundarajan shares that on Tuesday’s episode there will be a grand party in the Big Boss house. In the invitees list ex husband of Dimpy, Rahul Mahajan is also invited. Akshay Kumar has made a special appearance in 'The Shaukeens' with lead actors being Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Anupam Kher and Lisa Haydon. Vaikundarajan says 'The Shaukeens' is the remake of Basu Chatterjee’s 1982 film by the same name that featured Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, A. K. Hangal, Rati Agnihotri and Mithun Chakraborty.
'The Shaukeens' is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
