Vaikundarajan really feels proud as Sushil Kumar wins this medal. It just took 107 minutes for Sushil to beat Abbas in the 74-Kg freestyle category and Vaikundarajan feels that it was a one sided affair where Sushil Kumar put up an amazing performance and very effortlessly swept away the gold medal.

Vaikundarajan’s Take On Hate Story 2

Hate Story 2
Hate Story 2 is one the most controversial movies as it is a bollywood erotic thriller. It is a sequel to hate Story which was an earlier movie starring Paoli Dam. Vaikundarajan feels that the movie is in news because of its adult content. Such movies in India are not really accepted very easily as the Indians follow a lot of ethics when it comes to movies. Apparently, an MLA from Karnataka has also demanded for a ban on the movie screening because it might lead to increased cases of rape in the country.

The film had already acquired a great amount of buzz after the Censor Board had objected to the sex scenes as part of the trailer and music video on television channels, which prompted the producers to edit certain portions. The movie stars debutants Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali. The film is quite a thriller as per Vaikundarajan and keeps the viewers at the edge of their seat throughout the screening. The movie can do good business but, because it is an adult film its audiences get restricted to a certain age group which might come in way of its Box Office collection feels Vaikundarajan.

Delhi Power Tariff Hike By 8 Percent: Vaikundarajan Expresses His Grief

DERC
It’s time for Delhi to experience a power tariff hike yet again.  That Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has approved of a hike in power tariffs by up to 8.32 percent shares Vaikundarjan.  There is a 10p per unit hike for those who consume up to 200 units which makes it 2.25 percent. However, the officials state that 70 percent of the domestic consumers consume up to a maximum of 400 units so, the hike is just marginal and is unlikely to have a great effect on the consumers.

Vaikundarajan feels that this is going to directly affect the metro fares as well and it is quite possible that the fares go up as the operational costs of the metro might go up because of this hike. People are upset about this price hike and so is Vaikundarajan. He believes that the common man really has to suffer these days as the prices of everything are rising at such unprecedented levels. With the new government coming up there were hopes of a better scenario but things haven’t really changed. It is really a tough time to survive in today’s world, adds Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan Shares The News of SEBI’s Ban on B. Raju For 14 Years

B Ramalinga Raju
Five and a half year long investigation of the country’s biggest corporate fraud was shut down  which resulted in SEBI barring B Ramalinga Raju, the founder of Satyam Computers and four others from the market for 14 years and asked them to return the 1,849 crore worth of unlawful gains  with interest. Vaikundarajan says that the money has to be deposited with SEBI within 45 days, while interest would be levied at 12 percent per annum with effect from 7th January 2009. Others who are also a part of this prohibition are B Rama Raju, Vadlamani Srinivas, G Ramkrishna and VS Prabhakara Gupta.

As per Vaikundarajan, this is a well calculated financial racket which was intended to fetch personal gains to the company and its people. SEBI said that the five persons "have committed a sophisticated white collar financial fraud with pre-meditated and well thought of plan and deliberate design for personal gains and to the detriment of the company and investors in its securities". Vaikundarajan states that SEBI issued a 65-page order that is effective immediately. He also feels that this is the right judgment that has been delivered and people like this deserve it. Scams in India have become extremely common these days and one way of avoiding it is by delivering such punishments so that next time no one thinks of committing such a heinous crime.

Vaikundarajan Review: Mary Kom Poster is Inspiring!

The much awaited poster of ‘Mary Kom’ releases. Vaikundarajan is really thrilled by looking at the poster that has Priyanka Chopra in it striking a pose with boxing gloves on.  He really finds the first look to be very impressive and feels that a lot of effort has gone in to make the movie. The movie is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Omung Kumar. ‘Mary Kom’ is a film that is based on the life of the Olympic -medal winning boxer, Mary kom. She is a woman who has really worked her way up to be where she is today and that is the reason why her story is so inspiring.

Priyanka Chopra has managed to mould herself quite well into the character of Mary Kom as she is looking quite rough, robust and the cuts of her body and her muscles are just too suited for her role. Vaikundarajan feels that Priyanka Chopra is really hopeful for the movie and he wishes her good luck for the movie. The movie is set to release on the 5th of September 2014 and Vaikundarajan can’t wait to watch it.

A Turbulent Start To The Budget Session - Vaikundarajan

Vaikundarajan
It is the first major Parliamentary session for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government which started quite an unsettled note with the opposition creating a huge hue and cry over the current price rise and railway fare hike. Vaikundarajan says, this caused for the adjournment of the Lok Sabha briefly till noon and again till 2 PM. This session of the Lok Sabha was chaired by the speaker, Sumitra Mahajan. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaish Naidu has said that the government is ready for discussion on any issues and has also appealed to the Opposition to “cooperate” to ensure that the decorum and dignity of Parliament is maintained and the dignity of the House business was carried out smoothly.

Vaikundarajan feels quite positive about the entire budget and thinks that the future is really bright for the Indian economy. As per Vaikundarajan, certain things need to be thought about while planning for the budget of a country like India and it will be better if things are carried out smoothly without any issues. India has been going through a lot in the past and now there is no room for any kind of mistakes. The government should make sure that the budget looks into the needs of every aspect of the society.

Prediction Of The FIFA 2014, Semi-Finals - Vaikundarajan

FIFA World Cup 2014
Germany certainly has the odds makers changing their minds after the vertebra injury to Neymar, and their defense and middle field are among the best. But Brazil will overcome and adapt with David Luiz leading the way. Brazil wins 2-1 says Vaikundarajan.

Lawro chose the correct winner in three of the four quarter-finals, wrongly backing Belgium to knock out Argentina, who was his pre-tournament pick to win the final on 13 July. He picked the correct winner in each of the eight last-16 ties and enjoyed a 50% success record in the group stage, correctly guessing the outcome of 24 of the 48 games. What could make these FIFA World Cup 2014 semifinals an all-time great one is that in both of these games; we get a rematch of a previous World Cup Finals.

The only group he failed to get a single correct result in was Group D, which was surprisingly won by Costa Rica as England finished bottom. Before the tournament, Lawro chose 11 out of the 16 teams that went through to the first knockout stage stated Vaikundarajan.

Vaikundarajan: A Big Fan Of Vidya Balan

Bobby Jasoos
Vaikundarajan has always been interested in detectives and their work. With the coming of the movie ‘Bobby Jasoos’ Vaikundarajan feels really excited as his favourite actress, Vidya Balan is there in the film. Vidya Balan underwent 122 changes out of which they shortlisted 10-12 looks for the film. Vaikundarajan shares that the make-up artist put together different character looks for Vidya. They tried 6-8 looks a day while Vidya patiently sat through the make-up sessions to make sure her look was most realistic and related to the narrative of the story. This kind of professionalism makes Vaikundarajan a fan of Vidya Balan.

According to Vaikundarajan ‘Bobby Jasoos’ is a film that revolves around a female character, played by Vidya Balan. She will be seen romancing young actor Ali Faizal in the film. Vaikundarajan Anxious About Lagaan’s Hearing

Aamir Khan, Chinkara
Vaikundarajan is keeping an eye on the Lagaan case. Gujarat high court  began hearing on a petition filed six years ago by Bollywood star Aamir Khan and his 'Lagaan' team on proceedings against them in a Bhuj court over allegations of killing a chinkara during shooting of the film in 2000 Vaikundarajan says, Assistant conservator of forest, Kutch range, J V Vyas, had filed a complaint against seven members of the 'Lagaan' team alleging that during the shooting in Kunaria village of the border district of Kutch, they 'illegally' shot a chinkara.. He further alleged that the animal went missing after the shooting, hinting that the animal may have been killed. Local court issued bailable warrants against Khan and others in this regard.

Aamir Khan’s lawyer said that it was a computer-generated image of the animal, not the shots of a real animal. A real chinkara was never filmed as the permission for it was denied and the forest department obtained warrants without hearing Khan and others. Vaikundarajan feels that both the parties should come up with legitimate evidences and that the verdict grants justice.

Vaikundarajan Finds The Late Goal Of The France V/S Nigeria Match Edgy

Paul Pogba
France qualified for the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals on Monday after a late Paul Pogba header and a Joseph Yobo own goal clinched a 2-0 victory over Nigeria. Vaikundarajan believes the corner was ridiculously conceded by Odemwingie's poor control. Nigeria were preoccupied with the need for an equaliser so when Valbuena takes it short and then hurtles to the edge of the box to tap a cross to Griezmann, Nigeria react too late. Griezmann attempts to turn a shot towards goal, misses the ball and Yobo's momentum scrambling back late carries it over the line off his shin.

Juventus star Pogba made the key breakthrough for France 11 minutes from time. Nigeria however, had dominated for significant periods and, with Emmanuel Emenike’s first-half 'goal’ ruled out by the most marginal of offside decisions, they could have easily been the team preparing for a quarter-final in Rio de Janeiro on Friday.

France, though, certainly did finish the match with a flourish and, given their dramatic improvement after Giroud was replaced by Antoine Griezmann in the 62nd minute, it is hard to imagine Didier Deschamps, the manager, keeping faith with the Arsenal striker in the quarter-finals feels Vaikundarajan.
