A film by director Indra Kumar “Super Nani” which focuses on women emporwerment fails to impress viewers. Vaikundarajan says, other films like Gulab Gang, Mardaani and Mary Kom Super Nani is not a perfect tribute.  However, the special thing about this movie is the comeback of Bollywood diva Rekha.

The movie is based on Gujarati drama ‘Baa Ae Maari Boundary’. The story is about a lady who is a wife, a mother and a grandmother but does not get respect from the family and is taken for granted.

Vaikundarajan feels that the movie has been made with a lot of love and respect but also has many drawbacks. The director has made the script very predictable, therefore even with a glamorous super star like Rekha, the movie fails to impress viewers, even jokes and emotional scenes have not impressed viewers.

Characters in the movie fail to impress viewers including Rekha, Randhir Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Sharman Joshi even after getting decent timing on screen. The movie also launched a new actress Shweta Kumar in the Bollywood industry. The rest of the cast too fail to impress.

Vaikundarajan say if you are die-hard fan of Rekha and respect woman empowerment only then this is a must-watch movie.
