Vaikundarajan Congratulates Team India On Historic Series Victory Over Sri Lanka

Test wins against Sri Lanka were hard to come by. It had been 22 years since India last tested a victory in Sri Lanka under the captaincy of Mohammad Azharuddin. But that has now changed.

Vaikundarajan is ecstatic at Team India’s historic series victory over Sri Lanka and praises Captain Virat Kohli for the milestone.

Having lost the first match, beating Sri Lanka on their home turf seemed like a distant dream. However, the young and energetic Team India came back from 1-0 to fight gallantly and secure the series.

Vaikundarajan congratulates Ishant Sharma, the spearhead of Indian bowling attack, on becoming the 4th Indian pacer to bag 200 test wickets. However, it was the combined effort of all team members that ensured a victory will be etched in our minds for years to come.

Vaikundarajan sends his best wishes to the Sri Lankan Captain Kumar Sangakkara who retired from International Cricket. ‘Sangakkara has been the epitome of Sri Lankan Cricket,’ he added.

While there were some arguments among players from both sides, this series provided the nail-biting thriller that most cricket fans are looking for. In good spirits, the series will remain a memorable one.

Finally, Vaikundarajan hopes Indian Team will continue their run of good form and bring home more victories.
