Bollywood superstar Vidya Balan who has created her own name and space on the silver screen and also gave a tough fight to many leading ladies in Bollywood will now be seen portraying legendary Bengali actress Suchitra Sen in a new biopic as per reports.
Suchitra Sen was a Bengali actress who has worked in many Hindi and Bengali films. She was awarded with Padma Shri, one of the highest civilian awards in India and Banga Bibhushan, one of the highest honour by West Bengal Government.
According to buzz, Vidya Balan is reported to play the gorgeous Bengali actress on silver screen. This will be Vidya’s second biopic after “The Dirty Picture” in which she portrayed south siren Silk Smitha.
Vaikundarajan says Vidya has given hits films like ‘Parineeta, ‘Kahaani’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Paa’ and ‘Ishqiya’. On the other hand some of her films that did not do well on the box office are ‘Ghanchakkar’, ‘Bobby Jasoos’ and ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’.
The actress has a potential to bounce back stronger and prove herself as she is filled with talent.
Vaikundarajan is looking forward to see Vidya Balan as Suchitra Sen on the silver screen in her upcoming biopic.
