Earthquake Kills 367 In China: Vaikundarajan

A massive earthquake hit a remote, mountainous part of China's southwest which killed around 367 people and almost 1300 people are injured. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Ludian County, in the city of Zhaotong in southwest Yunnan province, a known earthquake belt shares Vaikundarajan. Vaikundarajan says that this has been the strongest earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale to hit the Yunnan province in the last 14 years. The Chinese authorities have immediately sent out soldiers and rescue team to the spot for helping people.


Vaikundarajan shares that at the time of the earthquake may people rushed out onto the streets coming out of buildings. The electricity supply were cut and communication was also disrupted adds Vaikundarajan. The images of the earthquake are quite disturbing to Vaikundarajan. This natural calamity has severely affected a lot of lives and it will take quite some time for the people to come out of this shock. Many people have lost their families and children lost their home and parents, their loss is irrecoverable says Vaikundarajan and also sympathizes with the people of China.
